Initially we got this Cooladio Solar Cooler from Picnic Plus as a gift for our good friends who are also our workout and hiking buddies.
This is a thermal foil insulated backpack cooler and a solar-power docking station in one! You can plug in anything that needs charging or power – such as your cell phone. iPod ® or MP3 player – and keep your food and drinks cold at the same time!
We honestly first did not believe that this backpack would work as described. But it in fact exceeded all our expectations during the very first try-out. We went hiking on one of those cooler summer days that eventually turned out to be pretty hot – but the Cooladio Solar Cooler was awesome doing its job – that is cooling our drinks AND keeping our cell phone batteries charged (so that we could still keep in touch with our parents and tell them how nice it was up in the mountains).
But the main reason why we are getting Cooladio Solar Cooler for ourselves is because it delivers on sound performance with 2 amplified powered speakers that offer crisp highs and thundering lows. My husband loves listening to music while climbing a mountain or walking in the woods. The bag also includes assorted adapters that fit most electronic devices for charging.
It is definitely worth the money we’ve paid for it!
