Solar Garden Light Sticks

by admin on October 30, 2010

Needless to say that all of us would love to see their back yards and gardens as clean and neatly decorated as those in the pictures from Fine Gardening and other magazines.

Well, while I can’t brag about posh interior design of my house, I could definitely take some props for my garden lighting. And I swear I still know very little either about appropriate electrical wiring or about changing bulbs and huge electric bills. How is that possible?

I discovered Solar garden lights that are not only perfect for lighting up your garden, but could also serve as awesome landscaping design pieces. And on top of it all they are absolutely environmentally friendly.

I have to admit that at first I suspected some hassle with these solar technology LEDs (light-emitting diodes) – after all I belong to the type of people with completely non-technological set of mind. But installing this beautiful water lily solar light stick was so easy that I could literally laugh at all my past fears and indecision. Moreover I got an extra Christmas decoration – right in time for the holiday season.

Now my garden is properly lit, I never have to worry about any extra pennies adding up to my electric bill – and my neighbors keep asking me how and where I managed to get that upscale garden décor. Hm…  Should I tell them how much I really paid for those “fancy” solar garden lights online?

Or maybe I should wait till I finish my project of lighting up my hot tub area. I wonder what they are going to think of me after that :)
