We just moved into our first new house – wohoo to first-time home owners! – and I can’t describe how much I am excited to be a newlywed and a wife and to have our own place where I can do whatever I want to do!
Well, I was unpacking gifts from our housewarming party (we got tons of them, thanks to our awesome friends!) and in one of the boxes I found this super cute Solar wind chime in the shape of the sun.
I was going to wait for my husband to come back from work and help me hang it up, but after throwing a second glance at this beautiful thing I also realized how simple it was to assemble and hang up! I went ahead and did it myself and now I’m enjoying the music brought to our house every morning by the sunshine of the day.
It’s an awesome way to start your day – the solar light makes the chime play, and strong direct sunlight through a window will cause active chiming and spinning. Less light slows them down. Low evening light will cause occasional activity. It securely attaches to the window with two quality suction cups.
And most of all I love the fact that our house is getting more and more environmentally friendly since I’ve started looking into getting solar products for lighting up my back yard and patio!
